S\u00f3 no ano passado, com a pandemia, ele foi respons\u00e1vel por 83% da receita dessa ind\u00fastria. Apesar disso,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.riaa.com\/reports\/2018-riaa-latin-shipment-revenue-statistics-riaa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> em 2018 j\u00e1 representava \u200b\u200b93% do total das receitas de m\u00fasica latina, contra 75% do mercado estadunidense<\/a>. N\u00e3o \u00e9 por acaso que gra\u00e7as ao sucesso das plataformas a m\u00fasica latina se tornou um fen\u00f4meno mundial. Questionada sobre a xenofobia na m\u00fasica latina, ela afirma que \u201co mesmo olhar que se tem para a Am\u00e9rica Latina vai ter para a m\u00fasica latino-americana\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&#8220;A suas culturas e m\u00fasicas deixar\u00e3o de ser importantes quando esses pa\u00edses n\u00e3o s\u00e3o importantes no mundo\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Sobre a m\u00fasica asi\u00e1tica, Krystal Cortez, coordenadora adjunta do<a href=\"https:\/\/www.midiasia.com.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Midi\u00c1sia<\/a> (Grupo de Pesquisa em M\u00eddia e Cultura Asi\u00e1tica Contempor\u00e2nea), faz uma reflex\u00e3o parecida. Para ela, o preconceito arraigado na din\u00e2mica da ind\u00fastria musical \u00e9 um reflexo do eurocentrismo presente na origem da sociedade ocidental. \u201cA emerg\u00eancia do discurso orientalista fez parte de um projeto amplamente difundido de ocidentaliza\u00e7\u00e3o do mundo, que pressup\u00f5e a sua superioridade\u201d, explica. Como resultado, artistas asi\u00e1ticos s\u00e3o colocados em posi\u00e7\u00e3o de inferioridade \u00e9tnica, racial e cultural frente aos artistas e estilos ocidentais. Assim, existe uma constru\u00e7\u00e3o do Ocidente como categoria \u201cuniversal\u201d, em oposi\u00e7\u00e3o ao Oriente enquanto categoria \u201cparticular\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><em>\u201cA rea\u00e7\u00e3o negativa ao K-pop e outros produtos culturais das sociedades do Extremo Oriente nada mais \u00e9 que uma resposta ao risco de perda do monop\u00f3lio do lugar do \u201cuniversal\u201d pelo Ocidente, em face da ascens\u00e3o de competidores de outras partes do mundo.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Em 2019, o conhecido jurado do The X Factor, Simon Cowell, chegou a afirmar que lan\u00e7aria uma banda UK-Pop, uma vers\u00e3o brit\u00e2nica do K-Pop, para competir com os coreanos. \u201cAtualmente, voc\u00ea pode dizer que o K-pop est\u00e1 dominando o mundo. Segundo ela, a ideia do \u201cperigo amarelo\u201d sintetiza o temor ocidental da lideran\u00e7a do mundo por na\u00e7\u00f5es asi\u00e1ticas, consideradas, de forma equivocada, culturalmente retr\u00f3gradas ou primitivas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>BTS \u00e9 alvo de coment\u00e1rio xenof\u00f3bico <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>H\u00e1 poucas semanas a tag \u201cRACISM IS NOT AN OPINION\u201d (racismo n\u00e3o \u00e9 opini\u00e3o, em tradu\u00e7\u00e3o livre) apareceu nos assuntos mais comentados do Twitter ap\u00f3s<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uol.com.br\/splash\/noticias\/2021\/02\/26\/locutor-alemao-e-acusado-de-racismo-ao-comparar-bts-com-o-coronavirus.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> fala racista contra o grupo sul-coreano BTS<\/a>. Matthias Matuschik, locutor da r\u00e1dio alem\u00e3 Bayern 3, chamou os integrantes de &#8220;alguns v\u00edrus de baixa qualidade que, com sorte, tamb\u00e9m haver\u00e1 uma vacina em breve.&#8221; A fala foi uma cr\u00edtica ao cover feito por eles da m\u00fasica \u201cFix You\u201d, do Coldplay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Oligop\u00f3lio domina m\u00fasica e premia\u00e7\u00f5es<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>A professora Astr\u00e9ia Soares tamb\u00e9m recorre \u00e0 din\u00e2mica da ind\u00fastria fonogr\u00e1fica para explicar a xenofobia musical.\u00a0 Ela lembra que existe um oligop\u00f3lio de gravadoras americanas que dominam o setor musical <em>mainstream<\/em>. Apenas a Warner Music, Universal Music e Sony Music<a href=\"https:\/\/www.infomoney.com.br\/stock-pickers\/o-streaming-e-o-renascimento-da-industria-da-musica\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> det\u00eam mais de 80% do market share global<\/a>, o que imp\u00f5e uma forte barreira aos artistas fora delas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Foram essas tr\u00eas gravadoras e a Academia do Grammy que criaram em 2020 um<a href=\"https:\/\/www.grammy.com\/recording-academy\/news\/statement-recording-academy-sony-music-group-warner-music-group-and-universal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Grupo de Diversidade, Equidade e Inclus\u00e3o<\/a> ap\u00f3s anos de cr\u00edticas de f\u00e3s e artistas \u00e0 premia\u00e7\u00e3o.
