A disserta\u00e7\u00e3o de Seabra se limita \u00e0s obras do cineasta polon\u00eas Andrzej Wajda, com um foco maior no filme O Homem de M\u00e1rmore (1981). A escolha desse autor se deve a apropria\u00e7\u00e3o dos <em>footage <\/em>como um recurso criativo e cr\u00edtico, ao contr\u00e1rio do que era comum nos anos 1930. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">Al\u00e9m disso, Seabra mostra como o recurso ao <em>footage <\/em>n\u00e3o apenas fornece outros significados \u00e0 hist\u00f3ria oficial, mas engendra uma meta-hist\u00f3ria, tanto da hist\u00f3ria oficial como das formas can\u00f4nicas de se buscar a mem\u00f3ria e a hist\u00f3ria.
